One of the desires of my heart has been growth in the prophetic. Often times, while in prayer, the Lord would remind me of the parable of the talents. Specifically, Matthew 25:21, "Commending his servant, the master replied, 'You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, 'Come celebrate with me!'" (The Message Translation). I made a determination in my own heart that if I was asking for more, then I need to be loyal and trustworthy of what was given to me. I decided that missing the mark or looking crazy for Christ was worth the price of growth and having the opportunity to celebrate with Him!
While on a recent trip with Agape, the Lord gave me an outrageous vision during a prophetic appointment. The Lord first prompted me to look up the meaning of this woman’s name. “From the heavens” and “shinning one” were the words that became a spring board for me to hear and see clearly from the Lord. As we started in prayer, I saw this vision of her standing on an elephant in her native home of Uganda. She was standing in a specific pose and all the animals of the savanna came and joined in this procession. She was being honored as the royal daughter of the King! I stood up and physically showed her how she was standing on this elephant and described to her all I saw, even describing an animal whose name I did not know. When I finished describing all I saw, she told me that I described part of a native dance that her family would do in a ceremony that honors others! The animal I described was some type of cattle that only lives in her area and that her family actually raises! I was blown away by the detail that the Lord gave to me for her benefit. It was a super fun, faith raising experience for us all! This encounter was a great opportunity for growth for me. However, I found the most joy seeing the expression on her face as she grappled with the idea that God REALLY saw her! Truly, this was a moment when we were all celebrating with the Lord, for His goodness and faithfulness to us lasts forever!
Psalm 117:2---For he has conquered us with his great love and his kindness has melted our hearts. His faithfulness lasts forever and he will never fail you.
